Graduate Certificate Option

The purpose of the Graduate Certificate option is to provide additional opportunities for students who have gained a baccaluaureate degree or for current graduate students to gain knowledge within a specialty at Clarkson College. The Healthcare Informatics Graduate Certificate represents the student’s successful completion of the required courses in the content area of informatics, specifically information systems and data analytics from the perspective of healthcare administrators. This certificate program is 18 credit hours.

The Clarkson College Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Informatics program operates on an academic calendar using semester hours. In addition, the Healthcare Administration degree operates using an accelerated course format with classes as 7.5 weeks in length in the fall and spring and six weeks in the summer. 

Program Specific Competency Goals

Upon completion of the Healthcare Informatics Graduate Certificate, graduates will:

Admission Policies

Enrollment in Clarkson College degree programs is limited through a selective admissions process. Admission policies and procedures are available from the Enrollment and Advising office, College website or Academic Policies & Procedures section (AD-1).
