HUM 290 - Special Topics in Humanities

Taken through Academic Travel Abroad (ATA), this course offers a firsthand exploration of the historical and artistic identity shaped by diverse global cultures. Emphasizing non-American contexts, students will examine the interplay of history (people, places, ideas, events) and the arts (architecture, sculpture, literature, painting) that reflect unique cultural identities across different regions of the world. This ATA course may be taken in conjunction with HUM 215 or used as an elective. The course may be repeated as different cultures are visited and studied.
