BIO 200 - Introduction to Forensic Science
This course introduces forensic science with a focused emphasis on medical forensics and its applications in criminal investigations, clinical practice, and community health. Students will examine the intersection of medicine and law through case studies, laboratory methods, and applied techniques. Topics include forensic pathology, DNA analysis, toxicology, anthropology, and the role of medical professionals in legal contexts. Students will gain knowledge of both theoretical principles and practical applications used in the analysis of biological evidence and interpretation of forensic findings.
